Removing and Replace Plastic Windshield Cowl???

Hey, got a quick question. I think i have pinpointed a very annoying clunking noise to my cracked plastic windshield cowl thingy that goes between the hood and the windshield. Anyways, does anyone know of a place online to get it because i'd rather not take it up the poopshoot from my local "friendly" Ford dealer. If i have to, i'll get in touch with Randy at Liberty Ford if i can't get it online.
Also, HOW THE HELL do you remove the damn thing? I think back in the day before the huge Stangnet crash there was a thread about it with a link, but its long gone. Anybody have a link or anything? Thanks in Advance

The service manual says remove the weatherstrip, then remove it.

Open the hood. There should be 3 plastic screws holding in there by the cowl weatherstrip.Take the weatherstrip off also. You can close the hood after that. Take off the windshield wipers. Then u can stick your fingers in a wiper hole and pull the fasteners out. Do that to all the fasteners,but do not put the cowl off yet. On the driverside u need to bend the edge out of the pillar and fender. That saves you from removing another screw which is a pain in the butt. Before you pull the cowl off you need to disconnect the windshield spayers. There is a hose toward the middle of the cowl. Just ease it off. Same way to put it back on.
I have done this a few times so if you have any more questions just ask.

I have also taken the cowl off a couple times. I would warn you that it is very easy to crack and a new one costs $300+

Only take it off when the temp is above 65F and only when you have to...

I had to buy a new one. The factory installed it wrong...ha ha I believe they list for 190 and some change.

Yea, thats the problem Killy, mine's already cracked And i think the clips holding it in are creating alot of extra noise
