I'm trying to get mine off now. I pulled the console apart, removed all the trim pieces that hide those bolts in the mounting bracket, and removed the bolts. It's all loose now, but I figure how to get it out. The opening in the back of the console is too small to pull the bracket through. I'll try to get a pic to explain. But, if you've done it, you probably know what I am talking about. Please help.

That bracket needs to come through that opening. But, you can see the part of the inside of the console is blocking that from happening. I seems like the inside part of the console will come apart from the main console but I had to call it quits before I could figure out how to do it.
