About 6 months ago I had a Steeda stage II suspension installed. Like others that have gone through this process, I find that My mustang "bottoms out" when going over bumps and rough roads. What I mean by this is that the top of my bump stops are making contact with the top part of my frame. Since the suspenion kit lowered the back of my car by about 2 1/2 inches, this puts only about an inch or less between the top of my bump stops and the the frame.
Accordingly, I get a frequent jotting action alot because of the short distance between the bump stop and the top of the frame.
I have been told both by a ford technian and another person who said to Alleviate this problem is to remove all 3 bump stops..... Have any other of you gone throught this problem and how did you solve the problem??
