The actual vents themselves can be gently pried out with a thin screwdriver or whatever you can fit in there. They just snap in individually. If I remember right, the wheel thingy stays in the housing. The other clips you are pointing at remove the whole housing together. You will just have to poush those clips down and pull out. It was a pain, but it will go.

Yup all i did was remove the vents themselves by just pulling on them and it gave me access to teh clips that are in the back of the vents.
All you have to do is support the upper part of the vent and the bottom half and give it a little tug.

thanks i tried to take them out but i broke some of the clips.:Damnit: i didnt realize how easy it was to break those little plastic pieces and i guess i pushed too hard... o well ima try and super glue them back together idk... at least now that the whole thing is apart i can do a decent paint job. im doin a black interior and i dont want to look into the vents and see red so i guess itll all work out or maybe im just makin excuses for my stupidity haha :D
