removing lifters with only rocker arms and pushrods out

hey whats up. i have a quick question. is there a way to remove my lifters out of my 5 litre engine (85 mustang gt) by just removing the rocker arms and pushrods. cause when i have those 2 parts off the head i can see the lifter clearley. could you use a strong magnet and pull the lifter up with that, or something along those lines. thanks. i just dident want to take the carb and intake off right now cause i need the car for work.

definetly wont be able to get them out. they are definetly bigger around than the hole in the head where the pushrod goes through. gonna have to pull the intake

I think 50resto sells a kit that allows you to remove the lifters with the intake still on. From what I hear it doesn't work that well and most people say its easier to just yank the intake.
