Is it bad to run around on the street w/o a sway bar? Does it effect alignment or anything?

It can affect transient handling. These cars dont handle too hot to begin with - I would want the bar to assist in evasive maneuvers.

Mines been off for almost 4 years. No issues what so ever. Feels not too much different. Nice free weight reduction, almost 25 lbs

Yea, I took mine off for the track this coming weekend, just wanted to see what people thought

I take mine off for track days the reinstall it. You notice more body roll without it intalled.

i would say for the track as in drag racing disconnetc it.. then for the street reconnect it.. it does help with body roll and handling.. as in if you have to swerve for some idiot that pulls out infron of you.. it helps..

but for the track, uninstall it or disconnect it.. as stated before it drops 20-25lbs

I like having mine on but it does help at the track to remove it.

Yea, took it off for the track, lifted left frint tire off the ground and oulled a 1.69 60' and ran a 12.68@105. But on the second pass went to 2nd and the tranny went boom

On a street car / auto-x car yes. I can't speak for the 1320 guys though.

I took mine off a while back. I do notice a little more body roll but the car isn't a DD just a weekend car that makes some trips to the track so I wasn't worried about it.

Mines a daily driver and havent had it for about 6 months. It affects body roll alot more, but ive gotten used to it, i can still do crazy slides everywhere and do some pretty sharp turns, you can feel the limits of the car when you try to turn hard, i think my front alignment might be alittle off, but overall it still runs great.

Exactly the same deal with me. I have 50/50 Drag shocks in the rear.. and an adjustable rear swaybar.. and it seems to do the trick a little better. This car is my Daily Driver. As long as you don't drive like an @$#.. You will be fine. It can be a little dangerous on tight turns though with the body roll.. I have 165r15's on 15x3 welds on the front .. lol
