Removing thread sealer from bolts

I have a set of ARP bolts that I need to clean and it looks like it's going to be a bear.
I have a wire wheel that I can attach to my air tool and try it.
What do you use to clean yours?

wire wheel on a bench grinder works well...

Your best bet is to get a tap and threader set that you'd use to cut threads into something, and just screw the bolts through them....that should be enough to get the any thread sealer out since it's enough to cut threads into metal.

Restored and cleaned many junkyard bolts and miscellaneous parts I've collected with a Dremel and wire wheel/brush.
