after putting the dash back together i found this piece under the carpet. anyone have a idea what it is and do i need it?
replaced my heater core and have a extra part!

It looks like a grommet of some sort. 
Pull anything through the firewall, besides the heater core lines for the heater hoses?

its gotta be a gromet of sorts and yes its broken. im clueless, i just changed the heater core, maybe it was already there from something else. i noticed it when i was wipeing up some coolant that had gone behind the carpet. i dont see it anywhere as a part so i know it fell of something. oh well, leave it to me to end up with extra parts. this just hope i get the screws all back int place!
