Replacement fan...

Looking for a replacement fan/clutch system, anyone know what other vehicles have a similar setup to Mustangs. Not looking to buy a new one as I'm selling the car, just want to go to the junkyard and pick one up cheap. Thanks.

just get one from a mustang. they are a dime a dozen in the yards.

I think autozone sells replacement fan clutches too.

Living in a smaller town, there has never been ANY Mustangs at the one junk yard there is here.

Anyone know if any other common vehicles share the same fan clutch system???

how much are you looking to spend and whereabouts do you live? I think I have one in the garage for an 87 GT that I took off of mine. I don't know what else fits it but I imagine most 5.0's from that year should be close as long as the fan diameter/depth is good.

Well, for just the clutch itself, the most I'd probably pay is $20 canadian, depending on the condition of it. I can buy a new one here for around $50. I live in British Columbia, Canada.
