Hi, new to the forums. Purchased a white '97 Cobra a few weeks back, bone stock minus a K&N filter and Magnaflow cat-back I installed. Anyhow, the OEM sway bar as snapped and I've been searching around for a replacement. I called a few salvage yards and I came across one that said they had a few 03/04 Mach1 sway bars available. Are these sway bars "beefer" than the Cobra OEM? I've read several people snapping the factory Cobra one. Would it be a wise choice to snag one of these, or stick with another OEM Cobra sway bar? Thanks in advance!

Those years cobra bars tend to snap a lot.
Sway bars are also matched to different suspension setups.
Your bar was 27mm in diameter, the Mach 1 bars are 26.5mm in diamter. Close enough

The rear sway bar does very little, so just stick anything on there. Even a GT sway bar will do. 96-98 Cobra rear sway bars are notorious for breaking. Mine broke, and my friends 97 broke too.
