I searched and went through plenty of pages but I'm more confused than before. :Damnit:

From what I understand, I NEED to do a Fox throttle body swap because the intake has the EGR crap molded into the upper intake and I can't use an adapter elbow.

However doing this swap allows me to use Cobra valve covers without the use of a spacer.

You CAN use an elbow on the 93 intake. I've done it. only run in I had was my C&L TB pipe had to be mounted funny. All you need to do is cap off the header and buy a 93 cobra EGR vavle. just transfer the electronics on the back of yours to the 93 EGR. It's like 3 small screws I think. I bought the eddy elbow and it worked just fine. You do not have to use a fox TB. now, don't get me wrong, but the fox cleans up stuff and makes it easier to work around things but you do no have to swap. just be prepared to work with close tollerences. if you want pictures, e-mail me at [email protected] .

I run the FRPP "Mustang Powerd by Ford" valve covers with my 93 cobra intake on my 95 GT. I was in the same position as you needing EGR while my LT headers didn't have the 5\8" EGR bung. You can use any intake and do the Fox TB conversion if you use the EGR spacer (as you noted the spacer is built into the 93 cobra intake). The most sporty part of converting to the Fox setup for me was creating my induction setup. I used a Fox C&L 76mm pipe and modified my SN95 MAC CAI by cutting after the IAT sensor and before the PCV tube port, rotated the upper pipe of the CAI and it fit right into the C&L. PM or email me from my profile and I can send you the list of everything you'll need to do the swap and a few pics too.

Thanks guys, I sent some emails to you. I know the Fox swap is a lot of work but my problem is even worse than that. I'm doing this on a MN12 cougar!!! Later I'll be doing the job on a 1995 GT *sigh* lol Got to love cars I guess.

Here is an engine bay pic of the Cougar, notice how hard this will be. I'm going with some sort of cowl hood with this car so I'm in the "zone" for height...
