Ok I was reading on a few fourms on installing a Bullitt suspension and wondering how hard of a job it will be.

I read that someone needed to take the liner out of his trunk to get to something with the rear shock.

Do you need to remove anything from the trunk to do this?

The reason I ask is that I have am amp rack and box bolted into my spare tire well, and its not an easy job to pull out...AT ALL!

the side trim panels (clipped in) need to be removed to get the strut nuts, you don't have to take the liner out, i never had to

As long as you have room to remove the side panels you'll be fine. :SNSign:

It not really all that hard, takes some time, mostly just unbolting, removing old, throwing in new, and bolting up.

Be careful, those liners are hard to get back in just right and crack easily. Pay attention while you are removing them.

I had to unbolt and move my sub box to get the side panels out. will just depend on how you setup is configured.

if it is just down in the spare tire well only you will be fine

Here are a couple pics from when I did my '98 vert. Maybe it will give you an idea... :SNSign:

See the rear driver-side "tower" left of the stock amps and spare tire...?

This is the passenger-side "tower" right of the stock amps and spare tire...
