Hey Everyone,

I installed a set of Bassani Equal Length Shorty Headers about a month ago, which required modifying the smog hoses to prevent rubbing/interference.

I have never been happy with the finished product, and have redone it twice and modified the metal tubes they supplied and it just doesn't fit right, and I won't be happy until it's perfect.

What I am looking for is if anyone has equal length shorty headers installed (doesn't matter what brand) and still has their smog tubes/hoses , can you please take and post a pic of the passenger side header area. Please remove the rubber intake duct going from the MAF to the TB for the pic so I can actually see your setup.

Thanks a ton.

Ok so my first request didn't go over so well...

Let me just ask this. Can anyone else please confirm that their two metal air injection lines, which are near/above the passenger side header, look like this? What I mean is, should the top metal line (going to the thermactor holes in the back of the heads) be straight up and down with the bottom metal line, or is everyone elses cocked off to the side like this too???

yes the top metal line from the back of the heds goes just like you have.

i see what you mean about being cocked toward the strut tower, can't you just remove the cannister on the end of the pipe and then slide something over that pipe to bend it silghtly inward?
