well if money were no option i would definetally have a twin turbo kit. i would also be buying a man o war block so that the 302 block could hold the power and not break into two.

There is also a pretty expensive kit that turns the fox into an independant suspension corner carving machine... they tested it a few years ago and it outran the new corvette body style in every event

I don't think I'd use a turbo; turbos may create lag, and you wouldn't want the car stepping out in a corner when the boost comes on. I'd probably do an all-motor car with a $20k suspension.

Look in my sig, don't do anything I did and your should end up with a car that is worth driving. But on a more serious note TT is a sick ass setup. good luck w/ the paper.

Id look up some of the fastest 5.0 drag racers out there.. Like Mike Murilllo (sp?) I believe he drives a streetable 8 sec white hatch.

And then go look up the best record fox on the road courses...

combine the two

Ok for suspension i would go to either steeda or saleen or maximum motor sports and buy there complete road racing kit.
I would get a built 9 inch for a Fox mustang from strange engineering with 3.73 gears. remember since this is a road race car you do not want a spool you need a limited slip diff.
The car would have to be stiff so a 12 point roll cage would be a must.
Also a sub frame brace kit would be in order.
Light wieght also so don't forget about fiberglass doors hatch hood and fenders.
Lexan glass would have to be installed instead of the factory glass.
The tranny would be a tko 600 close ratio
aluminum drive shaft.
for engine maybe go here and look at the xr long blocks http://www.dssracing.com/
don't forget all the safety equipment.
sfi scater shield
sfi tranny shield
sfi fire supression equipment
race suits helmets boots
maybe a body widening kit so you can get wide tires under the fenders.

i don't think it's all about money.
money can buy you what you need sure but money and a good driver will be faster every day of the week.
