Well here are the pics of the hatchback, paint is very good and well done. The car was put together real quick (front end held with tie-wraps) so I have a lot of stupid little things to do. First thing I'm doing is gutting the interior to redo that, then I'm redoing the front end (hood, cfenders, bumper cover)... No big deal. The engine bay is a basic fox with chrome CAI and polished stock intake. In two weekends, I should be pretty much done everything...

She is going to see a TrickFlow top end kit, Cobra brake upgrade, etc....

thanks, I want some black bullets with polished lips for it. Installing a Viper 5000 this weekend.

Wish list:

- TrickFlow street heat top end kit and 24# injectors and other matching parts to make the 350hp on motor...
- 75 or 100 wet shot of juice
- Aluminum driving shaft
- Aftermarket control arms
- QA1 k-member and coilover kit
- Connecting frames (I just need to weld them on)
- 3G alternator (this week)
- Aluminum radiator
- Viper alarm (this week)
- Coated shorty headers
- Aluminum quadrant
- Firewall adjuster

It has already

- 5 lug swap
- CAI
- BBK strut tower
- Underdrives
- 3:55
- Flex-a-light dual fan
- Off-road X-pipe (2.5")
- Flowmasters and 2.5" stainless tailpipes
- King Cobra clutch

It will pull sideways from gassing it on a roll at no more than 50 or 60km/h with BF comp 245's... lol

As far as the TFS kit goes... do yourself a favor and go with a set of 30lb injectors. It will save you head ache in the long run, you will find out real quick that the 24's will max out before the rest of the combo will, especially plan on a dyno tune. I say this from personal experience ( see sig ). Hopefully you remember the MAF and the t-body. A 75mm throttle body is perfect but I would recommend a larger than "generally accepted" MAF. Most people would recommend a 75-85mm MAF, but buyfordracing.com has the 90mm Lightning MAF for only $80. So, long story short, you will save time and money if you do it right the first time. Over $1000 later, I wish someone had given me this advice.

My flame suit is on because I know there will be people to come on and say not to listen to me because their combo worked fine without all the stuff. Well I listened to that stuff first and it didn't work for me. Either way may work... but why not be safe ya know.

Do 90mm MAFs fit on most aftermarket CAIs, or the stocker?

No, you would need to modify the intake tubes. They sell reduction/expansion fittings for that purpose if you didn't want to actually modify anything.

Glad your flame suit is on - see mods in sig. Real similar to the total TFS kit and 24 # injectors were perfect. I agree that a good tune is key.

My guess would have to be you're not getting as much as air as my setup is either, I understand it's close, so your fuel needs aren't the same... I'm just to the point where bigger would be better.

If he's going to run the TFS kit with any kind of bigger t-body, MAF, or bigger cam... I'd really have to recommend the bigger injectors. And if he's running a bigger MAF... I'd go big like I said earlier.

Maybe my train of thought isn't on the right track but....

If you have plans of a sueprcharger then go with the 42lb'ers and get an adjustable regulator so you don't have to buy injectors twice. Just a thought.

Well the smart thing is to save and buy everything at once right? I'm not smart... I want to run the top end kit before the summer ends and the supercharger will be put on for next summer That gives me time to figure out what to do about the transmission, right now it has a 4 banger T5. I've had one before and went thru TWO 302's and I think the guy is still running the same tranny with different engine lol I may go with a built C4 tranny so I can drive with my knee on the wheel, drink a pepsi with one hand and eat a burger with the other - all while pulling mid to low 12 second runs at the track hehe
