Hey guys. You guys were right, not what I wanted but I expected it and im satisfied. Best run of the night was [email protected] with a 1.80 60'. I have to granny shift 4th gear beccause my carwont go into 4th. I think if i could have powershifted 4th I would have hit 13.2. I was cutting some 1.78 60's I was really happy, I know the intake was helping me off the line, but up top its useless with these heads. Im not spending anymore money and fall break in a few weeks these damn heads are going on. My buddy has all the pics ill have them on tomorrow night, ill see if I can get the videos on tonight.

I was shifting at 5800 but it was holding me back, so i started shifting at 5500 and got the 13.3.

EDIT, heres the videos, pics on page 2!

First run of the night, 4th gear didnt go in.

Heres a in car view. Wasent trying to get a good time with this one, just wanted to give my buddy a ride for the first time with the slicks. You can see the burnout, and then when I went to launch it popped out of 1st, got it back in, and launched cause I hadent moved so timer didnt start, I would have beat the wrx but he started before me, he ran a 13.9 i ran a 13.8 that run.

for stock heads those are good times!

get the p heads on and the TB and it will be a whole new animal and be in the 12 FOR SURE.

you wont realize how much those stock heads are really choking you off until you get them swapped out and then you will wonder why u didnt do it sooner. lol

good luck

Vids no work mang... :stick:

yea they do, you have to wait a little for them to load, took me like 3 minutes to load it. If if dosent show if even loading or a black picture, youll probably need the newest version of quicktime, oh and turn your volume up alot, my camera sucks at picking up sound.

did you see the white 66 with red interior? the back is all jacked up and the front is slammed. its a buddy of mine from UCF..he said he saw your car. congrats on the times.

hmm I guess I missed that car. We should meet out sometime in the next few weeks when I get my heads on!

and hence, the skyline got 100mph, just a really bad 60' im sure he didnt know how to drive it very well. It was RHD too.

Nice runs man. Dam I need some tires. I want to go out to OSW on friday but im on street tires, I cant even run from a roll on the street without spinning, is there any point in even bring the car to the track on street tires or am I just wasting my time. Sorry im new to the fox body.

Good job man! Are you shifting every gear at the same rpm? I was told by a long time racer that each gear would have a different rpm where each gear tops out at. i was shifting mine (pretty much stock) at 5600 rpms in every gear, and he told me to take the car out and drive it. run it hard in each gear, and remember what rpm it stopped pulling at, then take that to the track. i went from a 14.2 to a 14.01 with no changes other than shifting each gear at a different rpm. maybe i just got lucky, maybe it works, but its worth a try.
