Great Job !!!

I think you could hit 12's the way you are too...

You see the air at 100mph is coming thru the hood gap and hitting the top radiator support. Here is what I would do:
1) So, take some card board (paint it black or neon orange) and run it across the radiator support and over the motor and then take some dryer hose and bend the cardboard so that it runs into the dryer hose.
2) Then you can staple them together.
3) Run the dryer hose down the back of the motor and out to the back bumper.
4) Cut a hole in your bumper and mount the dryer hose and tell people you have "Hood Gap Induction"
5) Make all necessary "Hood Gap Induction" stickers and place them on your hood.

That's an easy 75HP right there. Enough to put you in the 12s for sure

thakns guys, im gonna do that hood gap stuff, see if it works

haha about shifting, my car will pull to 6krpm but its not making power up there, its hard to tell where each gear stops making power. Ive noticed all my gears pull hard, execept once i hit 4th, (you can tell in the in car video) it kinda slows down and takes a while to pull, I think its because of the stock heads, the intake did a whole lot for me downlow, but the heads are still hurting me up top.

Nice times Nick. Much better then my predicted 16.8.

You should really work on that launch. Your launches are very erratic and jerky. It shows you have the hook, just not the RPM. Rev that bastard to the moon, floor it, and dump the clutch at 5K and you'll pull the LF wheel and be on your way to a 13.0-13.1.

Yea at first they were bad, I wou ld launch at about 3000, I realised later on the night that my car LOVES to launch at high rpm's, so i reved the mother and droped the clutch and was pulling 1.78 60's my shifting just wasent consistant because of the 4th gear, sometimes it went in, sometimes it didnt, either way I had to granny shift it, looks like the powershifting finally took a toll on the ole' t-5. Wish I had a few thousand for a nice tremec.

last couple times i have been i had drag radials which HOOKED!

i remember my first pass on DRs, i didnt know what to expect and the car just roared and left the line, when on the street it would normally roast the tires.

nothing ever seemed so intense as my first launch. i have got better launches tho lol but it was fun the first time. never really got that sensation again.

Id be more worried about the axles and torque boxes, you can feel your rearend being beat to hell. But I have a new king cobra clutch so i dont really even think about it. You have to shift FAST too cause those rpms fly up like crazy, itll take a toll on that too, powershifting is already slowy taking the life out of my t5

a good tire makes all the difference. it opens the gate to focusing on shift points and trying to get good 60's a good tire eliminates a whole problem, dont have to modulate the throttle and worry about tire spin, just dump and floor it and go
