Nice work, and the good thing is T5s arent expensive to rebuild or replace the synchros. Id say look into it for 4th, I had a similar issue with 2nd and since it hasent given me a problem!

Yea I think my second is on its way out as well. How much would it cost to replace 2nd and 4th syncros? Does the tranny need to come out?

yeah the tranny needs to come out. . . actually tearing down a t5 is no big deal. Once u have done it once its a breeze

They actually have a video out there that goes step by step through rebuilding them and I have heard it is a great video and can be done reletively easy. I paid $400 fo my 2nd gear to be fixed and its been a dream ever since!

Its funny, my friend just bought a DD for himself. HCI hatch with a shot, and his first time beating on the car, powershifting 3rd, blew the T5 up. Some people get really unlucky with them, and some get really lucky...
