I've got a 94 that I'm working on, I've done a good bit of work to it and the last bit that I've come to is the fuel lines. (This is the last thing stopping me from starting the car!)

The rubber lines that go from the hard lines near the firewall to the fuel rails look to be in good shape and I was hoping to use them. But somewhere along the way I lost/broke the clip that holds the return line onto the metal lines.

This clip is not a standard C clip like the feed line which was easy to find, the clip for the return is the style that sits on the metal line and you push the line down on to it. Like this picture.

Does anyone have a part number for this? I've been to 2 Ford dealerships, and 5 different parts stores and even having a few of the parts stores crack open a catalog they where not able to order me the correct size. (Most of the ones I got where too tall so the clip would not lock into place.)

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I'm aware I could order/make new lines but this is going to over complicate my minor issue. Plus my budget has gotten pretty tight on this project now that I am nearing the end...

Thanks!

There's a website you can buy these exact connectors from, AND new fuel line while you're at it. I don't remember it offhand, but there was a post where someone linked to the guy's site. The part numbers are:

1 Duckbill Fitting, 1/4" Female to 3/8" Nylon Tubing. Code: 9136
1 Duckbill Fitting, 5/16" Female to 3/8" Nylon Tubing. Code: 9137

Aha! Found a resource for the fittings:

Ron Morris Performance: Stock Ford EFI Fuel Fittings & Fuel Line

I think this is the URL I have at home.

Hell yes, you rock. That first picture looks exactly like what I need, and according to my Ford paperwork (From one of the dealerships I visited.) the one I need is a 3/8ths.

I owe ya big man, saved my sorry ass twice now.

I finally got this in the mail today. Just wanted to confirm for future searches that this was the correct fitting needed for the return line. (Because this was a huge PITA for me!)
