This is my 1969 Mach 1 wheel restoration I got back from Rim blow buddy.
Would you guys accept work like this?

Hi,
Not knowing what the damage was previously, I would have expected the vendor to acknowledge the repair (coloring) was going to be much different and given you the option. Since it appears, you tried to contact him to "make it right" and received no response, then, your only recourse is post your experience. If they are "listening" this may flush them out of the their hole.
I'm assuming there was no discussion on the course of action for the repair?

That would depend on how they set my expectations. If they said it would be "as new", then no. If they said, they would make it look good, then yes. I don't think those color differences will be noticeable once the wheel is mounted on the car.

Their quote is "They are the best in the business". The pictures on their website do not represent this kind of shotty workmanship.
Also, others that have commented (69-stang.com) say that they did not get this kind of result from rim blow buddy.
They obviously had a bad day.
My wheel had no cracks and just needed to be refinished when I sent it to them.
For $450 this is not what I expected.

Here is a sample of their competitors work, and is what I expected:

Did you send these pictures to them? $450 is a lot of cash. I'd be disappointed as well.
Yes, I sent pictures as soon as I got the wheel.
The person I talked to convinced me that I was being picky.
Now that I have seen their competitors work, and have read responses from their other customers, I don't think I am.
The price did include a installed horn switch which was bad too. The second replacement switch is so hard to honk that my wife can not use it and I can only find a couple of spots that work.

Hmmm..... Looks like they restored it to look like Old Damaged Wood! Pretty good job I'd say......

Seriously though, I would give them one chance to make good, and then I would Flood every Car Forum I could find with the pictures of their Sub-Standard work!
