Looking to purchase some Drag Lite rims (2) and some MT ET Streets or similar tire.

I'm not 100% sure on what size combo to go.

Either 15 or 16 inch. What will be the best combo. Width, Size, Backspace and Tire size.

Just FYI, running an 04 Solid and rotors and moving to 4.30 gears in about a week from the current 4.10s, if that will aid in the selection. If you have 2 rims that you want to get rid off let me know as well.

Coments?

Here's an e-mail responce I got from Bogart in regards to running their 15" wheels on a solid axle with Cobra rear brakes:

Yes you can run a 15x10 with a 6 1/2 backspace from what I
hear it should not hit the cobra calipers on the rear. Don't know about
the tire. we do have a street strip wheel but I dont think it will clear
the calipers only the drag wheel. You will need a open end mag lug nut not
uncommon to find them in a parts store. A 15x10 will run you $356 each and
will take about 3-4 weeks to complete.

As for how tall, depends on what MPH you will see at the traps. 26, 27, or 28" tall tires are the norm. Hope that helps some....
