Is it possible to calculate a ring gear size by marking a spot on the driveshaft and one tire? Spin the tire and count how many times the driveshaft rotates per one full rotation of the tire? I thought this was possible but my drive shaft is only turning 1.5 times for every wheel spin. Does it matter if it is an open dif or not?

Try marking the tire & driveshaft, then turn the driveshaft instead of the tire.

I think I did that way too. I got the same result. I guess I should try it again.
