One side of my motor mounts seems to be a little ripped, is it worth replacing, will this problem cause any loss in power. I mean is it really a big deal if its ripped a little, they are meant to last forver arrent they? Can i get motor mounts at Autozone or Kragen, whats the difference between poly and rubber, besides the rubbers ability to absorb more engine shake. Any help appreciated.

you could get them at autozone or kragen if you like using low quality parts. poly will transmit more vibrations then rubber. if you are looking t poly, the ones from MM are top quality. there is an updated design from Ford IIRC, thats very high quality as well.

they are only like 25 each from ford.. and no you wont really loose any power.. might loose some traction tho.. not something that you will notice much..
