Polished the radiator and coolant overflow tank…and installed them back for hopefully the last time.
Then got my center bezel molded before cutting it for the Holley 6.86..going to mold this unit in flush next.

Did you have to clearance the edges any to allow for the thickness of the leather?

The leather Im using on the dash actually just makes for a nice tight fit but not wrapping the center bezel in Leather. Now that its shape is what I want…I’m going to make a mold and make the final one out of carbon fiber.

Completed my first Carbon fiber piece. Its fitting its for this car too. The whole reason I got involved with Carbon fiber is no one offered me the piece I needed. A smooth cowl for my 94. I tried to get One place to
Make it and 4 yrs later nothing. So like Upholstery and machine work and a lot of other stuff I’m involved in now it started as a necessity. So KNK CarbonWorx is born.

What is crazy about this is, the place that makes these with vents, it would take any time at all to make it without. Their loss.

Doesn't the filler neck vent need to be plumbed before the throttle body?

Carbon fiber cowl is officially a success. No gaps…no movement now that it’s installed. flush with the fenders…flush with the windshield and no uneven gaps between the two..and even to sail panels and hood.
