Wow...I saw the link to your thread here from my local NW forum (Superiorstangs.com). We have a member whos beautiful Fox Body caught fire and he's doing a rebuild...so a member linked your thread. I'm SO sorry that you lost your home and beautiful cars. Glad to hear that no one was hurt or worse! Your attention to detail is literally second to none! I just bought my first home and it's brand new...I move into it in a month, and now I'm scared to death after reading this! Best of luck and I'll definitely be checking this build thread regularly!!

Thanks man! Don't worry about the new house. Mine had problems from day one. With today's codes, it is very unlikely you will have electrical issues that can cause a fire on your new house.

To update the thread. I am learning how to sew and stitch my own seat jackets for my recaros. I am just playing around with materials and my stitching machine. My work is not picture worthy as of yet. I am also working the roof panel and hope to have it in primer by next week.

Ever thought of opening your own shop?? You have a ton of skills! But then again just building your own car is extremely time consuming...can't imagine building 5 to 10 projects at one time haha!

I'll post some pics in a couple of days but all the glass is out. The roof has taken quiet a bit of time. It was stretched out pretty bad, so it has needed a lot if attention. I should have it in primer by the end of the week and will post some pics then. Once the roof is done all the body work will be behind and it will just be a matter if blocking and priming everything 4 or 5 more times before I can talk painting.

He's probably been trying to save money by staying off sites like this.

Latest update on progress. Although the roof doesn't look that much different than last time I took pics. It has another 10 hours of body work. It is a wipe down away from primer.

hes absolutely right... I've been trying to save a lot lately, my car just sits in the driveway. I'm getting married next yr (2013) and trying to pay for that and finally find a house. so not TOO much money is left for the Mustang unfortunately. lots to do, just no money to do them LOL

some progress on the drivers rear quarter. Fixing some of the factory ripples around the fender well area.

Ain't that the truth. My Mustang needs a tranny rebuild, which is like $500 in parts, a rear end rebuild, which is like $500 in parts, and a few other things, and it will be flat out awesome. I just wish I had some money to spend on it right now.

Thanks for the motivation, Nick!

How are you liking the T-Top fox?

Sorry man, I lose my mustang motivation in the winter since my garage is cold. The bug is starting to bite again though, so I thought I'd pop in. I'm liking the T-top, but the interior is currently out waiting for paint on the plastics when it warms up. I have a fresh 306 in the corner of the kitchen (yes, I said kitchen and I'm still married!), so I have plenty to do to her soon enough. It's good to see you still going strong! I'll be checking in more often now.

I had parts in my kitchen before, but I wasn't married.

Kevin, you seem to have the coolest wife of all of us. Surely you have gotten away with something in the house, maybe before you had a nice garage/shop?

What do you have on her? This level of tollerance can only be the result of potential blackmail.
