How do you suppose it will handle with the drag racing style rear suspension?

I would guess it will handle perfectly in a straight line!

I deal with that question about every day on customer’s cars. It’s either gonna corner or hold a line...or if it’s stock. Neither. So pick what you want and go all out. This ones built to go straight....not corner hard. The wheels/tires and 800 horsepower its going to make alone makes cornering not something you want to try. I’ll leave the cornering to my 95 or 98 Saleen which both have the full MM package.

Yep, the T-top car does. The coupe is set up for straight line and the Saleen is mostly stock Saleen suspension right now, but that may change.

Looks like nice work on the rear end!
What will the rear brakes be? I’ve been eyeing a Strange brake package myself

Thanks, I’ve really not decided. I can run any I want with these ends. I have a strange, aerospace, and wilwood kit on the shelf. I’ve used the strange kit on several cars and it’s really nice. If your debating, I would go for it.

The "little" couple, lol. Just driving around Miss Daisy in it I see.

Rough guess, when do you plan to start spraying the Cobra?

I’m going to get the car running, tuned and dynoed. Then I’ll blow it apart and paint it. So it just depends on how long all that takes.

How difficult is it to completely smooth the eb seam Kevin?

Eventually I would like to do that in my blue car. Is there anything special I should do when I cut it completely off? Maybe cut off a little and spot weld across the seam area first then go back and stitch across?

I want a powder coat oven too.

Yea, you pretty much nailed it. It’s just like shaving a drip rail on an old one. Which I’ll be doing again soon. Only the metal is much thinner. I cut and ground down a section at a time and tacked it as I went. Then went thru and completely welded it where you could look from the backside and not see any pinholes. Did the S-351 engine bay the same way about 8 months ago. And it also helps if you use the cowl cover as a template when welding and grinding it down. Oh and first remove as much seam sealer as you can from the back, so you don’t have to stop to keep putting out the stinking fire. Lol

You know it’s got to be an exact fit. But I actually go a few steps further when body work comes in, with the whole firewall getting blocked multiple times.

This is just for fittings I will be reupholstering the rear seats to match the fronts. I will also be adding to the panels and retexturing the to match the oem finish to close up the last remaining evidence of a mini tub. My goal is to make the mini tub completely hidden from the back seat or trunk.

You know Kevin, I remember you have a technique for redoing the texture. How do you match oem again?
