just get regular door handles and use machine screws to hold them in place. Thats what i did 3 years ago nothing has come loose. it worked great.

Dam i never thought of using machine screws, I'll have to remeber that if i have to do it again good idea, Cooperstang87, Doesn't say what he uses to attach them to the door, at least i didn't see it, sucks he won't ship to canada, i ship there all the time it's not that hard.

Make your own rivetless using carriage bolts.
It is not hard to do.
It looks like this is what the ebay kit is.

Much less effort than what you are about to go through.

Why would you want to give business to someone who doesn't want to sell to you?

If you do get this kit could you post some pics of how it mounts here?

I wonder if he is using "nylock" nuts (nuts with a nylon insert)? They could be considered tamper resistant because it requires a wrench on the inside to keep them from turing otherwise they won't come off. You could buy those at a hardware store.

Carriage bolts have a rounded head. Similar to a screw, but without the slot for the screw driver on the head.

Note the Square shank

Use a small file on the hole in the new door handle to make a square hole. It is pretty easy, just take your time. The square shank of the carriage bolt will then fit into the square hole in the door handle. The bolt will not be able to spin as you tighten the nut.
Then use a Nylon threaded Nylock nut to hold it all together.
Paint the head of the carriage bolt to matck your door handle (black) and it will look very good as well as being tamper proof.
It looks like the ebay dude did this in one of his pics.
