I have been looking into getting a 05 Gt for some time,and was trying to decide which transmission to get.Today my local dealer and good buddy get a red 05 Gt with automatic in and I just got back from driving the HELL out of it.Overall I was impressed,The automatic was the best stocker Ive ever driven.Flooring it from a stop spun a little and then just kept on going like a turbine.I really couldnt tell when it shifted,It was seamless all the way up to 120mph.This transmission is great and I know that I will be even more impressed with a axleback,Cai and tune from one of the top 3 guys.For all of you wondering how this auto Gt is,It is very impressive!!! Now I must go drive the manual and make my final decision.

It may already have a modified tune installed. These cars are notorious for hesitating from a standing start(especially the automatics), and their inability to spin the tires. A modified tune reduces or completely eliminates these issues.
