<<---- 88 GT w/TTOPS HERE!!!

Yes I have a roll cage, its almost a requirement with this body style (subframes as well)

I dont get why some people hate TTops!! Sure they leak if the seals are worn, sure they dont blend in with 95% of the 5.0 crowd , sure they arent the STRONGEST chassis but how many people actually rock ttops as compared to hardtops?! I like to be original !!!

BTW- I will be running a 347 with 2.2 kenne bell (see sig) methanol injection and aeromotive fuel system.... yes it will be a weekend warrior and I will have absolutley no problem driving it around all summer long (with the t-tops off of course)

A waste in YOUR opinion.........

He has a T-top car......let him do what he wants with it.

Not only that but I have been told he drives the car around too, so he does enjoy it, more so than some fox bodies out there making 1/4 the power.

Gas mileage is the last thing I care about with my Mustang. I bought it to drive, not worry about mileage.

Ever been to New England... we don't have cheap gas, ever.

I am sure a guy that has that car can afford to fill it with gas. Also the beauty of a power adder like he has, it really does't kill the mileage that much. Granted his motor is beyond built, and I'm sure gets 4 mpg if he is lucky.

But who builds a car for mpg. You would rather run 12s and get 25 mpg, than run 8s and get 5 mpg?

Went 11.9 . @ 124 with traction problems (2.0 60 ft). The roll bar helps alot.

Easy on the street with door bar off.
