Roller rocker install and info pls...

a friend of mine gave me a set of the crane gold 1.6 rr's and I was wanting to put them onto the stock heads I have on the car using this kit http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=CRN-36655-16&view=32&N=115&orig=1

I was wondering will my valve covers fit? also is there anything else I will be needing in order for all of this to work?

stock valve covers might fit if you do some grinding on the baffle but you might want to look into some aftermarket ones. also i think the fox ones might be a little taller.

to run fox VC's you just need a 3/4" intake spacer

I was told to get hardened because of the guide plates being in place? Also what is the length of the factory rods

you dont need guide plates with ped. mount rockers.

only real benefit youll see from the new rockers is that their a bit lighter and being roller rockers theyll move easier

1.7's will increase lift a tad

I will be installing this

in order for the stud rr's to fit thats why I was asking

Plus the Crane Golds I got cost me 0
