roller rocker noise

i have 1.6 ratio roller rockers and when u give it gas they get real loud like a taping noise i took the valve cover off to see if they were lose but there not is this just common with roller rockers i dont kno please give me some info thanks jj

I have 1.6 aluminum rollers. I dont hear any noise from them.

i used harland sharp 1.6 roller rockers, no loud tapping noises, but the manufacturer did say that roller rockers are a little noisier than factory stamped rockers. sounds like they are a little loose or your lifters or lifter is failing.

There is another post on here that kicked my brain into gear. Is there a chance that they are hitting the valve covers?

The FMS ones from my experience go clackety clack, its normal, just a little louder valve-train. If you havent removed or modified the splash guard on the VC then you might get some contact. Or maybe you need some lifters.

What was the process you did when you put them on? Or did the car come with them?
