Well, since I've got my heads off, I was looking at upgrading my rockers from 1.6s to 1.7s. However, I'm more or less looking for a reason to justify spending the money. What real gains will I get by upgrading?

BTW, if I do end up making the swap, I'll have some Crane 1.6 w/ 3/8 studs up for sale if anybody's interested.

Later,
Bill

Not only that but they are Crane roller rockers made for the Cobras.

Then why am I stuck with Crane's 1.6s? That sux.

What kind of performance will I get from upgrading to 1.7s?

Apparently my ex-husband made that mistake.

Most cam shafts are ground for 1.6s, because that is the stock rocker ratio. Don't waste your money, just get a camshaft that is ground for 1.6s, and get a good set of 1.6s.

My cam is a FMS E303.

What problems, if any, will I encounter if I upgrade to 1.7 roller rockers?
