heylow everyone again, im the one witht the locked up oil pump witht the fresh motor, yeah im gettin the crank polished and bearings should be here by this weekend hopefully, but b4 installing everything again i would like to add some roller rocker, as u can see i have a b- 303 cam so which roller rocker should i use, the 359 dollar ones from ford racing or wat, and will i need shims and of course ik i will need studs since these are stock heads so any input will b nice!

the stock heads utilize a pedestal mount rocker arm. so if you wish to continue using that setup, buy some pedestal mount rocker arms.

FRPP has some nice ones, crane makes then and so do others.

if you want to go to a stud setup, crane makes a conversion kit that has studs that will thread into the 5/16 hole in the head and have a 3/8 thread on the top part of the stud to use a conventional stud rocker. the only drawback is that your still using the small 5/16 thread. you could also have a machine shop enlarge the holes for a conventional stud and go that route, will be a little stronger.

i will prolly continue with the pedestal mount then i wasn't sure if that would work or not, sorry for the dumb question, just trying to build my own stang with minimal machine work possible until i have enough to buy a stroker kit, it just sounds fun!
