Has anyone ever had any problems with any of the roller rockers out on the market today. I have heard of the snaprings on the sides of them busting off and causing some big time damage. Is this just a freak accident or is it common or what? I am on a tight budget and plan to just pick up a set of aluminum roller rockers from Jegs for 165.00. My concern is they to have the snap rings on the sides of them where the rocker pivots.

I can't say anything bad about Jegg's rockers since i've never used them, but that is one area that i personally wouldn't go cheap on...they're under a TON of pressure and move something like 58 times a second (can't remember the exact number vs. RPM but it's amazing) so i would opt for a quality piece even if you have to save up for it.

I lucked out and found a guy locally selling some barely used Comp Cams Pro Magnums for $160 and i got some ARP studs from him for another $20.
