Rollerized Spring Perches?

Can anybody tell me if they could actually FEEL the difference before and after installing these?

Yeah, I read that when it came out, but I have never actually heard if anyone noticed the improvement. I know technically it is an improvement, but can you tell before and after the install ??

The Roller Perches were one of the best upgrades I made to my front end and I noticed the improvement before I got to the end of my driveway.

Wouldn't these count?

The cars ride much smoother than before. Bronze or bearing it's a good idea.

I don't know how long they last, none have failed yet. Some have been on the road since Jan. and they have been on the track a few times too. Folks love 'em.

Very competitive driveway

The suspension runs through its range of motion faster. It felt like it softened my 620 slightly simply because the whole suspension assembly is working with less binding on sudden shifts from side to side.

I don't shovel. On the rare occasion that we get too much snow (24 inches or more) all at once, I will get it plowed, but otherwise, my wife's DD and my DD are more than capable.

They both still make it with the deep snow, it just wears out the universals a little faster when its that deep.

hay cbarton are you buying them made, or are you making your own?

Nah, I wish I was making them,,,,,I have neither the time or the space to do it in. I will be buying them. I called AllPac today and they are no longer making them. That just leaves Cobra Automotive unless you know of another source......

They make such a major change that is hard to put into words. Some folks say they make the car easier to steer. I don't know why, but I noticed it too. It is by far the best single mod I have done to a car. The cars are safer to drive with them in my opinion. We are putting them in all of our street cars along with the track cars. The cars without 620's feel it more. I don't use stiff springs in any of our cars so we all feel it right away. I could feel the change as soon as I moved the car. The first car to get a set was my daily driver '64 Falcon Sprint. There are more than two dozen sets of my perches out there now. One set I know has around 6K on them and going strong so they do last. It is a shame that Cobra Auto is the only place to get the bronze type. I sure would like to see someone make a set like mine with real bearings and not a bronze bushing.
