Edit:
Are you talking about running the blower and turbo together?

I dont know how difficult it is, but I have a book at home that has a couple set ups that use a roots type supercharger with a turbo. They arent on mustangs though.

There was someone on here that raced someone with a wrx sc/turbo i think. the figures only came up a little bit more than with one power adder and if you tweeked the the boost it would be faster than the dual combo.

yes, it is possible. do i know anything about it, no. be ready to drop some serious coin on it too. i've actually seen a write up on it done on a wrx, at least i think it was a wrx if i remember correctly

*edit* i guess it was a wrx after all, lol

you'd lose power due to the IAT from the turbo.

I asked a question almost similar to that a while back, except mine was adding a nice centrifugal to an 03 Cobra. It seemed like a perfect match. Get that thing up and running with the roots and then have that centrifugal kick in. It would be even better when the turbo boost kicks in.
I forgot all of the responses but alot of people said that the tune would be really hard and that the centrifugals boost coming in would upset the roots boost.
But someone said that a magazine did it with a truck. I don't know if it's been done with a Stang though. Try it and lets see it.

Just use nitrous along with the supercharger. It would be the same.

I did a little research on this back in High School. Yes it is possible. You could have the roots blower boost until the turbo spooled and then have a electromagnetic clutch (think A/C clutch) disengage the blower once the turbo's boost was above a certain point. In my opinion it wouldn't be worth it. Think of all the intake piping you would have to run. Yeah you could do it to be different but why?
