Hey, thanks for the replies. I'm looking at a Procharger now. Their website says high 11's for a stock '02 GT with only exhaust mods. 8 psi I think. Thats relativly safe.
Never believe what a manufacturer says about THEIR product. If what the said was true then we could all have an extra 100 rwhp with a handful of cheap bolt-on mods.
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong here, but --- No such thing as an intercooled supercharger. Intercoolers are a separate component, and can be installed with any roots/centri/screw type blower.
The roots and screws require an intake manifold that can house the intercooler. Some intercoolers bolt to the blower, but are not integral to it. Others bolt to the intake.
I could be wrong but i think he was just mixing the fact that twin screw physically uses screws to compress the air and that you can get one intercooled. Not sure if thats what he meant or not.
Well I see you defended the twin screw again Some people seem to think that more HP wins races. I would put a Kenne Bell 03 Cobra running 600rwhp against a 700rwhp Procharged 03 any day. Remember boys you need that monster torque to get these heavy sleds moving

I'm not the one thats arrogant. Your arrogant and also posting without any basis for what your saying. The only instance a centri is going to beat a twin screw in maximum power is with higher boost levels. A twin screw has boost off idle and as much or MORE hp as compared to a centrifugal capable of the same maximum boost. Compare an s-trim to a 1.7L KB...you'll find the kenne bell will typically get about 2-3 more hp / pound of boost at peak AND put out over a 100-150 more foot pounds of torque in the 2000-3000 rpm range. Those are facts based on dyno'd vehicles not some opinion based on what you think.
