Rotor stuck!

My front right rotor will not come off my car. I have replaced the back ones already, but for some reason this one won't budge. I removed the caliper and the part that holds the caliper on the rotor. There is nothing else attached to the rotor, but it wont even shake like it will come off. I tried some Wd40 and yanking really hard haha, but still no luck. I also tried hitting it with a small sledge hammer. Can anyone help me with this?

Did you cut the little clip deals off? Should be like two of em on the lugs ... maybe? If they are on there, cut them off and when you put the rotor back on, just use two lugnuts to hold it on and put the caliper back on.

Strike the side of the rotor hat with a dead blow hammer.

Just did rotor on my Nissan, and f!@ker would not come out. So i just used 5' long sledge hammer. one good wack from it, it came off in hurry

I've had this problem many times. What seems to work for me is to strike the rotor between each lug nut stud with a small sledge. May need to give it some substantial wacks, but it should do the trick.

Yup....then clean the rust off of the hub face and smear a little "anti-cease" compound around the area afterwards to make sure this never happens again.

A couple whacks around in-between the studs almost always works for me. And as stated above, clean the hub surface and give it a dab of anti-sleaze so it won't happen again...
