Roush 427R TrakPak

I live just a few miles from the Roush facility. I always assumed it was a storage lot for Ford, until I finally noticed the Roush sign out front. The Roush 427R TrakPak is what attracted me to pull in the lot and take the photos.

Thanks for the pics man but I hate the way those look. They remind me of imports or drift cars. I personally wouldnt be caught dead driving around in one of those. The Mustang is a American muscle car and Jack Roush couldnt have designed that car. Maybe he hired a euro tech along the line. Thats just my opinion but I'll stick by it all the way

427, thats like 7 liters, what do these things have for motors ? I heard jack was working with the new boss motors, the 5.0, 6.2 and 7 liter. Wouldn't it be cool to have a 7L boss motor that would fit into our cars, could happen as these cars are not redesigned 09's. All I can say, " is here camero camero, here challenger challenger hee hee.

It is the stock 4.6 boosted to 427 HP. It's not engine size. He has the 428 coming out really soon which is the 4.6 boosted to 435 HP. Next year will be the 429 with even more power. His other engine projects you mentioned are crate motors and for special projects such as the Ford GT and one offs he builds. I haven't seen where he has replaced the 4.6 with one in the Stang...yet.
