hey guys i just bought an 89 lx with a 306 with roush 200 heads and a 526/532 lunati cam. My question is that the roller rockers are very noisy so I pulled the valve covers to check and see whats going on, and well i found the following. The car has Erson 1.6 roller rockers, guide plates and they are stud mounted not pedastal. Well i have had bad luck with keeping stud mounted roller rockers quiet. Can someone explain to me the proper way to adjust these? And please dont say live with it! I will put stock steel rockers back on before i listen to this much longer! When i bought this car it had turn downs on it, and he said that the rockers were a little noisy cause of the thin valve covers, but i doubted that! But i liked the car so i got it. I put tailpipes on it and i love the way it sounds and it runs strong but its too noisy! Please Help!! Thanks in advance!

the right way to adjust them is first adjust the intake valves then do the exhaust valves of each cylinder in the correct firing order.
