Does anyone have one of these on their car? Was there any response / power difference noticed?

I am weighing against the Steeda CAI.

Please post your opinion.

Steeda didn't have enough "flex" and tube was too long so the metal tube ended up being crammed flush into the edge of the throttle body. After a couple of months I checked and found silver "sawdust" in the T/B where it was rubbing the tube. Roush didn't look like it ever fit tight at the T/B - it wobbled and wiggled even when the clamps were tight. Went with K&N...and I really like the way that it is supported at the motor INSTEAD of at the inner fender. So if the motor gets really jacked up, you won't explode the plastic MAF.

Here is an article on a install job from a Roush website:

If the link doesn't work, copy & paste it into your browser.

There has been some good responses about the Gen2 version of the K&N FIPK.

Okay...has Roush changed to plastic(?), or did I see a *fake* Roush? What I saw under the hood looked pretty much the same except that the one I saw was all "metal" and the silicone connector at the T/B was covered up with a stupid metal sleeve. So no matter how tight the clamps are around it, the silicone hose/connector just never makes a tight seal.

It appears that the Roush is Plastic.

I am guessing that it should fit well. But I am not sure. I think I can pick this up at a very good price, so I was sceptical.
