After thinking about it, I really would like to see the majority demographic of the typical Badged Mustang buyer. (AKA Shelby, Saleen, Roush, Boss302) I'd bet by far and large, 80% of the cars purchased by that demo has never had the back of the go pedal ever get close enough to the carpet to be considered W.O.T..[/QUOTE]
.

Even the capabilities of a properly equipped new Mustang goes beyond what most of the owners will EVER ask of that car, .....add 100+ HP to the mix, and you get a 57,000 (or whatever the fk they cost) "look what I got" to drive to the mall.
So you paid and extra 20k for the power most will never use, a stripe, and a badge for what?

To accelerate in 3rd gear on the interstate?

Waste.

What douche bag would let his 16-18 year old buy a Shelby? I see about 7 people did. And how in the hell could one afford to purchase on their own? Wow.

Btw I voted for the Shelby. It's the only one I've really been tempted to buy. Also I'd probably beat on it about every time I drove it(just like my waaaay underpowered fox)!

Like I thought. Majority percentage of owners occupied by the sector of men trying to recapture what it was like to be 30,.......again. (the 10 years between 45, and 55)
And......
Describing the color orange to a blind man is easy........
Take him outside on a 60 degree, bright sunny day, and turn him to the sun. Orange looks like your face feels.

LOL at the hint of the STATUS thread. And yes, I guess I think more along the lines of the few that buy a car to drive it, rather than ooze status.
