rpm needle doesnt move on tach?

the rpm needle doesnt move on my autometer sport comp tach. what kind of voltage should the green wire from the coil be reading. if i do have voltage could the tach have just gone out. thanks

i dont think its the ground cuz the light come.

The green tach wire should be on the dark green wire on the coil, which would be to the drivers side of the car on the plug if I remember correctly. make sure the connection is good.

the tach reads the ground signal from the TFI, not power.
if you hook a test light to that wire, the light will pulse like a pulsar star.
