I am getting ready to order a custom cam for my new motor build and am trying to figure out what RPM range I want in the cam. The motor will be an all forged A4 block Kenne Bell supercharged 336ci, heads are wicked ported TFS that flow over 300cfm @ .550 lift and have oversized 2.05 intake valves. What kind of RPM range should I request?

I think with that combo (big heads, supercharger etc), you will have a hard time getting the power band in the lower RPM's 3000-6500 would be what I would ask for.

Where ever YOU want to make power. Don't ask us, its YOUR combo.

My cam is 3200-6400, not too high at all because i'm using a stock block. If I had a real block i'd want to shift around 7,500 but for now, 6,800 is ok

The custom cam designer you are going with will set you up with the rpm range, based on what you tell him and your goals.
