Hello all, I currently have a rpm upper and lower on my 347. 14lbs procharger, edelbrock rpm heads, custom cam and long tube headers. Trans is a Freddy brown 4stb, 3:73 rear. Basically a fun street car that is 1/4 mi raced occasionally.
I came across a rpm2 upper and lower and am getting mixed info if the lowers are the same.
Thanks

Oh yeah... That thread clears it all up.

It does appear though, that they are [not] the same and should not be mix-matched.

I don't know much about many of the posters in the thread above but I do know a bit about TMOSS and Ed Curtis (FTI Cams). If they're saying it's a bad idea, I would go with that [regardless] of the specific reasons.

Also according to them: A little port work on your RPM 1, puts it with the top performers for Windsor intakes.

One more thing...

Thanks for your input. I think I'll get a few dragy hits, then pull the upper off and see how the ports match up. If it looks good I'll put the 2 on and see how it does against the 1. I'll post the results.
