RPM's drop faster with intake spacer?

Hi

There's a thread in tech right now where a guy added the spacer between the intake and throttle body and said that it stopped the hanging idle issue with our cars that Ford programmed in. Has anyone else experienced the same thing? If so I might need to order one. Thanks. http://www.americanmuscle.com/mu4gtinsp1.html

I did the IAC mod to my car and it made a huge difference. I didn't use a metal plate or any of that nonsense .. I just bought some gasket (that you can cut out), traced the stocker, cut a smaller hole and I have no hanging RPM's.
