So I blew the seals on my rack and pinion, and apparently the only to replace those $2 blue rubber seals is to spend $260 on a new rack and pinion 
As a temporary fix, I was thinking about getting a short serpentine belt and just not use the power steering pump.
Bad idea?
Anyone know how much shorter should the belt be?
