I have a whole S load of rubberized undercoating under my car. ANd of course its rusting right underneath it. Do you know of anything that will eat off the rubberized undercoating. Because i really wouldn't like to sit there with a scraper and a wire wheel. Im planning on primering the whole underneath and painting it. Probably using por 15. ANy suggestions?

Scrape, scrape. I can't think of anything else strong enough to pull it off that you would want to contact the car. I know, it sucks. I have the same problem with my 91. Unfortunately, the undercoating is gone and there is rust on the bottom of the trunk. Just surface rust, so no big deal.

I don't know what they were thinking undercoating these cars. My 89 with more miles and no undercoating is rust free.

bead blast it . yes it is a mess but put your car up on jackstands outside somewere and get about 300 lbs of palstic beads and go to town. i did my entire car in about 8 hours . 3oo lbs should cost you about $30 at any heavy equip. store. and you can buy a sandblaster for about $15 as long as you have an air compressor. dont even consider chemicals.
