alright guys i gotta 95 cobra, no motor mods all susp and brakes. when i bought the car it was seriously lacking some beans, and pinging on anything other than 93 octane. checked base timing and found 6deg. bumped it up to 12 and pinging was out of control. unplugged maf&iat and pinging goes away. open and shut right? new maf still no beans but no pinging. yes i have checked for unmetered air and exhaust leaks. timing currently set at 14 base, maf unplugged and runs 87 with no pinging. anyone else had this problem.
