no there is no pinging, I knew that the gauge was not accurate but i figured that it would move off of lean once in a while.

What might cause you to run lean

let me count the ways jelly bean

1) GT comes from Ford kinda lean right off the bat

2) CAI could contribute

3) Still runnin the stocker fuel pump

4) Still runnin the stock inj's

There are four that quickly come to mind

If you got an afpr and its jacked up a god bit ...............
3 & 4 might not be hurting you too bad ... but still ......................

I would tell you to not be afraid to feed the beast with an ample supply of fuel

Even after saying all that ... I think it is strange you don't even see normal stuff when you are just putting around town

you are probably good, if there is no pinging (detonation) also is check engine light on. and if your worried about a rich or lean condition you can install an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and tune it at a local dyno shop dynos usually run about $80 an hour. which is enough time to adjust fuel
